If you haven't seen it, this is hilarious! Especially right at the end.

Incidentally Sarah Palin is lying. Rob Emanuel did NOT call a group of liberals "effing retards" He said their plan to air attacks on Conservative Democrats was "effing retarded" What Rush said was much more offensive.

Who's splitting hairs?...the term, while being accepted terminology 20 years ago, today is insulting to some. However, Rom Emanuel is retarded....besides, when are you gonna answer my questions?....

Why didn't Sarah Palin just use his actual quote instead of spicing it up? Why isn't Sarah Palin "offended" that Limbaugh's repeated use of the word "retard"? Hell, he even used it to describe people who really have a mental handicap.

Are you at least going to admit that Sarah Palin is being completely phony on this issue and trying to score cheap political points via her son's condition?

there is nothing wrong with using retarded if you use it in its correct sense.

We should not be calling mentally difficient people "retards" but when something is retarded, saying it is retarded should be perfectly fine.

Only in America are people like Rush Limbaugh and Sarah Palin actually listened to.
Well, okay, Holland too...

Good grief.
I sometimes feel like I'm Charlie Brown and that someone's just stopped my flow of dope.

What a crock of BS! That's like saying it's OK to use the "N"-word as long as one uses it in its correct sense....if you had a mentally challenged child, would you like hearing the word "retarded"?

Are you invoking some sort of "human right" not to have one's feelings hurt?

"Mentally Retarded" is a scientific phrase. The N word is not. It means the person's mental development was retarded...AKA slowed.

Apples and oranges....."retarded" was not used in a medical context, and Rahm wasn't using it as medical jargon. I realize that "mentally retarded" is medically-correct terminology, but just as everything is becoming PC, this is another example...

Well if it was not used in a medical context, and Rahm wasn't using it as medical jargon, why on Earth is Palin pretending to be offended?

That's the point!! She has a child that is retarded and was offended by the context in which the word was used....in a non-medical context...
